17.3 Modifying a review

Because the attributes of a review do not become fixed when the review is created, it is possible to alter a review using the standard actions   |  Change Metadata Type  ,   |  Edit Description  ,   |  Edit Metadata  ,   |  Notification   and   |  Rename   at any point during its lifecycle, even after it has been closed - see section 17.7 - Closing a review.

In addition, before a review has been closed (see section 17.5 - Reading review comments), additional changes can be made to it. From the Review page, the creator can:

•   View/Change  |  Edit Details   - to change the Due Date or the Comment & Action Notes, to alter who the reviewers are or give the review an Open Distribution (see section 17.8 - Open Distribution) or to change the documents associated with the review - for more details see section 15.3 - Modifying the issue before it is sent out. (As the review is available to be responded to from the moment it is created, it is not possible to edit the Purpose of Review after the review has been created.)
•   View/Change  |  Close Review   - see section 17.7 - Closing a review
•   View/Change  |  Respond to Review   - see section 17.4 - Adding review comments

A review cannot be copied but it can be cut or deleted in the usual way by its creator.
