17.5 Reading review comments

Review comments are displayed in the Responses section at the bottom of the Review page, accessed by:

  • Clicking on the review name in either the folder or collection (see section 16 - Collections) containing it
  • Clicking on a related Task (see section 15.4.3 - Tasks) in the Task menu on either the review itself or a document being reviewed

The Review page is analogous to the Issue sheet shown in Figure 17.2-3. As a review does not have an equivalent concept to "being issued", the progress bar (see section 15.2 - Creating an issue) is not relevant to a review.

The Review page displays

  • the review name preceded by its type if it is using a specified type rather than the default
  • who created the review and when
  • the reviewers' names - either those who have been assigned to review the documents or the names of those who have completed a review (for an Open Distribution)
  • who the reviewers are and which ones have completed their review (see section 17.4 - Adding review comments)
  • the documents under review, including their name, which revision is under review, the document size and MIME type, its description, the name of the creator of this version of the document and its creation date
  • a row of responses per reviewer where comments have been submitted (see section 17.4 - Adding review comments)

As review responses are per review, not per document, the Responses section of the Review page is considerably simpler than the corresponding section of an Issue Sheet.
Viewing the Review page triggers a read event for the review.
