19.5 Changing markup folder
To change the folder where markups for a document are stored, click | Change Markup Folder . Now select the name of an existing folder or create a new folder in which to store markups henceforth. Moving the document does not change the markup folder associated with it.
If you choose not to associate a markup folder with the document, this will set aside the folder containing existing markups. In order to open markups contained in this folder in future, the folder will have to be re-associated with the document. Any markups created after disassociating the folder from the document will be placed in a "Markups for documentname" folder as if this were a newly marked up document.
-
Note
-
If you specify the name of an existing folder to be the markup folder, the folder type will be changed automatically from folder
to markup folder . Also, the folder containing existing markups reverts to being simply a folder . This is illustrated in Figure 19.5-1.
Changing the markup folder to a new location means that any markups created subsequently will be saved in this new location.
-
Important Note
-
It is only possible to Open, or Open for Review, markups located in the current markup folder. To view a markup located in other folders, either change the markup folder to this location or move the markup into the currently specified folder.
