4.8.1 Edit banner

In several Business Collaborator interfaces, it is possible to insert an image (or banner) directly beneath the automatic Business Collaborator banner provided. This banner may indicate, for instance, the name and primary organisations working on a particular project. The banner is simply an HTML file and so may contain links to images.

Click  |  Edit Banner  for the folder or workspace to which you wish to add the banner. This will bring up a form to specify the banner as HTML text. The banner will be "inherited" by the folders which this workspace or folder contains, unless you turn it off explicitly.

Note 1

If the images to which the banner file refers are stored in Business Collaborator, they should be accessible by the workspace members; otherwise the banner will not display when they look at the workspace or folder view.

The Business Collaborator version 4 interface does not display folder banners.
