7.4.1 Reading new email
To get new messages, click on View/Change | Get New Mail for the Mail Box. Business Collaborator will check your mail server for new messages,
and display any it finds. If you have section 7.6 set up for this mail box, new messages will be filtered as
appropriate before being displayed.
You will be presented with a page like the one shown in Fig 7.4-1.
Figure 7.4-1: A mail folder containing a listing of email messages
To read a message in your Mail Box, click on its subject. Other messages in the Mail Box can be read by
clicking on View/Change | Previous Message and View/Change | Next Message in the message view, or by clicking on View/Change | Return to Index to return to the mailbox and then selecting a different message. (An email message with attachments is shown in Figure 7.4-2.)

Note
-
Remember that Business Collaborator mail will not check the mail server for new mail automatically.
7.4.2 Viewing messages
To view a message listed in a mail folder or mailbox, click on its subject.
7.4.3 Reading attachments
Some messages may have additional information attached to them, e.g. a Word document or an image. Where
this is the case, will be displayed next to the message in the folder view. To see the attachment, click on the subject of the message to view it. If the attachment can be displayed easily (e.g. if it is simply plain text or an image), it will be displayed on the page with the message, separated from it by a horizontal line - see Figure 7.4-2. If you chose to "Automatically extract all attachments to a new folder" when you set up your mailbox, copies of attachments will also be available in a folder elsewhere - see section 7.5.5.
All attachments can be accessed individually from the table at the bottom of the page. If the attachment is
something that can be saved as a separate file (e.g. a Word document), a checkbox will appear next to it. Select those attachments
you wish to save to a Business Collaborator workspace and click "Copy to Bag" - the files are now
accessible from your Bag.
(Remember that objects should be copied from your bag and pasted into a workspace prior to downloading or
for long-term storage.)
